Canterbury Tales 1
The character I enjoyed reading the most about, was probably the tavern host. I know that the whole prologue is supposed to be focused on the characters who are flawed and have secrets, but I can't help who interests me. I love how the host sees all of these people and asks to join them on their journey. In a way, I feel as though I would be just like the host. I would make a deal with them all as he did and have them tell me stories. I am all for bets and stories, so that is why he is my favorite. In the prologue itself, you find the author wanted commoners to read his work and be entertained by his lavish descriptions.
